Why not search for the Witch of Wookey in one of Britain's most spectacular caves. Wonder through the prehistoric valley, but beware of Dinosaurs!!. Why not visit The Wookey Pier, all the fun of the seaside, but don't worry you won't need your umbrella as it's all under cover. Get to use real old pennies.

Wookey is also famous for Britain's last surviving Hand Made Paper Mill. You could try making your own piece of paper, quite an experience.

If you are feeling energetic you might want to take a stroll along the nature trails using Wookey's easy to follow map - it's quite a sight.

Be thrilled by the roar of the lions, laugh at the tricks of the mischievous monkeys, set sail on board the safari boats escorted by the crazy sea lions. Don’t miss Gorilla Island (Yes they do really watch TV!) watch out for those Happy Hippo!.

Step back in time as you visit the magnificent Longleat house, standing proud in all its glory in the wonderfully landscaped grounds.

Not a dark dismal place! These Caves are beautifully illuminated showing off the stalactites and stalagmites which have formed over hundreds of years. One of natures wonders, these caves are a sight not to be missed. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter so you can visit whatever the weather outside.
